Advocacy

Advocacy events offer general members the opportunity to make a difference in underserved communities. We work with individuals with lower socioeconomic status, survivors of substance abuse, and the homeless population. GMT advocacy events aim to support communities that are often overlooked in the healthcare field.

Hygiene Kit Drive

GMT holds quarterly hygiene kit drives that take place at the Boys and Girls Club in Santa Ana where we distibute clean and sanitary hygiene items. We have raised over $3,000 that went toward purchasing these items and have helped over 2,000 individuals.

Child Creativity Lab

We collaborate with this non-profit organization where they create, package, and teach STEAM-based kits and workshops to foster the next generation of critical thinkers, problem solvers, innovators, and leaders through hands-on creativity enhancing exploration.

High School Reach-Out

GMT recently established this program where we provide guidance to students who are currently applying to college.

Project Linus

We provide new handmade blankets and send it off to Project Linus, a non-profit organization, where they distribute these blankets to children in need.

Karate For All

Karate for All is an occupational therapy-based martial arts facility aiming to help treat kids with neurological and physical disabilities using martial arts. This is a volunteering program in which you would be engaging and teaching karate to little kids! You do not need martial arts experience in order to volunteer.

Miracle For Kids

We help families with food, clothing, shelter and more—so they can focus on the care their child needs.

MOMs Orange County

We volunteer at MOMS Orange County, the region’s largest nonprofit dedicated solely to newborn and pregnancy health. Along with this organization, we help support low income mothers and babies with various services and resources.

Thomas House Temporary Shelter

We volunteer at Thomas House Family Shelter where we aid and support homeless families with children by providing rent-free apartment units with food, supplies, and a full range of supportive services and programs.
